Every evening - between 4:30pm and 6pm, 2 to 4 million bats will fly out of Deer Cave - looking for dinner. Estimate the bats eat about 28 tons of insects every night.
Boat up S Melinau and walk back - via Moonmilk Cave. Plenty of ups and downs.
11th longest cave system in the world - 151.4km (2007 interim report). Depth - 355m
Wind Cave is connected to Clearwater cave. Has a big chamber - King's Chamber.

It's muddy, full of leeches, but, has pretty scenes along the way.
Sg Melinau overflowed its bank - heavy rainfall on G Mulu the previous night. No walking anywhere!!
Went to Mulu again - hoping to climb G Api to view the Pinnacles. Unfortunately, Nikon D3 and tripod were too heavy to carry up. So - no photos of the Pinnacles of G Api :-(.
Finally, went with Ahtapon - he took the camera to the Pinnacles to take the photos :-).
